    Projects and Achievements

    1. Education & Child Welfare (1979-Present)
      • ACDC has consistently focused on providing residential schooling and support to under privileged tribal children.
      • Received major funding from international organizations like World Vision of India, Child Care Denmark and others.
      • Notable achievements include:
        • Scholarships and operational support for students.
        • School Infrastructure development supported by the Embassy of Japan (Primary & Secondary school buildings).
    2. Community Development & Livelihood Projects

      Projects funded by Indo-German Social Service Society (IGSSS), MISEREOR (Germany) and Royal Netherlands Embassy focused on:

      • Livestock management
      • Agricultural Development
      • Irrigation Dam construction
      • Farmers' Benefit Schemes
      • Water harvesting and rural water supply system (CAPART & others)
    3. Health & Social Awareness
      • Conducted HIV/AIDS prevention programs with Manipur State AIDS Control Society.
      • Ran a large- scale diabetes prevention campaign (2012-13) with support from the World Diabetes Foundation, Denmark.
    4. Vocational & Technical Training
      • North Eastern Council supported a Computer Education Programme (2000-2001)
      • Various skill development initiatives were conducted through both Indian and Foreign Donors.

    5. Cultural Preservation
      • Ongoing project (2024-present) with the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, to establish the Chandel Museum as a cultural heritage site with a total sanctioned fund of ₹4.99 crores.

    Strength/ Abilities:

    • The organization has an experience of 50 years in implementation of community development projects and programmes.
    • 25 projects implemented by the organization have been efficiently executed and successfully completed.
    • The organization has maintained good rapport with the beneficiaries of the projects implemented and has received commendable appreciation from the funding agencies, district administrative officers, support recipients and the public in general.
    • The organization has been exposed to global standards of communication, data assessment and reporting through the implementation of various developmental programmes in collaboration with both national and international Funding agencies.

    Skills & knowledge:

    • The Managing Committee Members are well experienced in conducting community development projects.
    • The organization is well geared up with office equipment for data collection, processing and report generation.
    • The staffs of the organization are regularly trained as per the process-oriented requirement of the project. For specific technical knowledge, external instructors/professionals are engaged for training the staffs.
    • Over the past decades of social development activities, sufficient skills and knowledge of various issues and concerns have been acquired for enhancement of functionality of the organization.

    Areas of improvements:

    • The organization has progressed since its inception is all aspects. The administration is stable and at its potent phase.
    • Collaboration with both national and international funding agencies has resulted in better relation globally. Moreover, recent projects implemented have produced remarkable potential of the organization thereby increasing its viability to take up other new projects.
    • Coordination amongst the staff and project activities has augmented exceptionally.
    • Technically, the organization has advanced in the use of technology to communicate and accumulate information.
